My name is Miriam Kay and I am an Entrepreneur, SME Business Consultant, Marketing Strategist, Marketing Manager for Amaze TV a mother of Twins and the CEO of The Dora Foundation . I have been passionate about Business since my teenage years after winning a grant to set up my first venture which was a Kids Party Planning business at the age of 16. I greatly enjoyed the highlights of running a business while learning a lot from the challenges. This prompted me to pursue a career within the business sector.
One of my greatest challenges in life has been battling with a chronic condition. I suffer from Sickle Cell Disease which is a genetic blood disorder that causes excruciating pain and endless complications. Although this condition affects all aspect of my life, I try my hardest to not let it define me. Having a positive outlook on life has greatly helped me to achieve my goals.
Over the past couple of years, I have been involved in various successful projects and businesses therefore people started asking me for guidance to either start a new venture or to grow/improve a current venture. I truly enjoyed doing this and got great positive feedback from those I had worked with. This is what led me to turn this to an actual business venture which will enable me to put all my knowledge, skills and experiences into good use while at the same time helping individuals and companies to achieve their goals.
